Whether you're here to unwind, explore a new technique, or just make something with your hands, the māk bar is your space to do it your way. Here's how it works:
Step-by-Step: How to māk
1. Come on in.
Head to the māk bar and browse our curated selection of projects. Each one is designed to be approachable, inspiring, and totally doable—No experience (or reservation) required.
2. Choose your project.
Pick what speaks to you. From watercolor transfers to mixed media collages, each project includes all the tools and supplies you need to complete it. Some offer optional add-ons or embellishments for a little extra flair (and a small extra charge).
3. Find your perfect seat.
We’ve got cozy corners, communal tables, and solo spots—so settle in wherever feels right. This is your space to get comfortable and create.
4. We’ll bring everything to you.
Think of us as an art cafe. Once you’ve chosen your project, we’ll deliver your materials and tutorial right to your seat. No need to carry supplies around—we’ve got you. We'll even do the clean up!
5. Follow the tutorial (or don’t).
Each project comes with a step-by-step guide you can follow at your own pace. But if you want to go off-script, remix the technique, or make it your own—we love that. We’re here if you need help, but you’re in charge.
6. Be creative. Be kind to yourself.
This isn’t about perfection—it’s about process. Play, explore, and let go of the pressure to “get it right.” You’re here to māk, not to impress.

- All projects include tools and supplies to complete them.

- Our team is always nearby if you need a hand, a pep talk, or a fresh brush.
- Prices range from $15-$45 for drop-in projects at the mak bar.
- Most projects are appropriate for children - please plan to assist.
