At māk, we believe community is built through shared experiences. From instructor-led workshops and creative classes to drop-in crafts and private parties, māk is built for makers of all ages, abilities, and comfort levels. Whether you're here to learn, play, celebrate, or just unwind—we’ve got a space (and a project) for you.

Host your own creative gathering. From birthdays to team events, we’ll help you plan a private workshop that fits your vibe, group, and goals.
māk summer camps
We had the best time this summer! Both camps were wildly successful and we are so happy we scheduled them at the last minute. Next year, mark your calendars & stay tuned for dates. We absolutely will do these small group camps again. We'll limit each group to 6-8 per day and we'll have more than 2 to choose from! In the meantime, stay tuned for winter break!
The leaves aren't changing and the sun is still out but we're already planning for winter day camps. Get on our list to be the first to know when registration opens! If you missed out on summer camp or just want a day here and there, this is your chance! We'll have themed days. Come to one, come to all....everyone's welcome.
māk (adult) craft club
māk Craft Club is your weeknight creative hangout — a relaxed, adults‑only space to unwind, make something, and connect with others. Whether you bring your own project or join in on the project‑of‑the‑week, Craft Club gives you a place to land, create, and actually do something with friends. our craft club is on hold for the summer - but stay tuned because we are turning it up this fall!
Mahjong Mondays at māk
Monday EVENINGs: MAHJONG 101 & 102 (LESSON & play)
Join the gals from Lucky Ducks Mahjong for casual, supported gameplay. We’ll help you build your wall, sort your suits, and keep the table flowing. No pressure—just good company, snacks, and a little strategy.

Hi! My name is Laurie and I'm the creator of māk. I never thought of myself as an artist - at least not by trade. I planned events, built global communities, and lived in the fast lane of tech. But somewhere along the way, I realized I was craving something slower, softer, and more human - a space to create, connect, and just be.
